So sorry to hear of my dear cousin's passing. Tho we were miles apart for most of our lives we felt our family love even still. I know she will be missed by her family and I will miss just knowing she was part of my family. Cousin Mary Doutt in March of 1950 helped get me dressed for my brothers (Robt. T. Doutt, Jr.) funeral, I was 8 years old at the time. We saw each other at many of the Doutt/Poe reunions held at Hungry Mothers State Park in Tenn., many yrs ago. Mary's Mom and my Mom were best buds over the years having married two Doutt brothers. I will always have fond memories of my cousin Mary.

My sweet Aunt Mary you will be forever missed on earth, but I know heaven was rejoicing the morning you entered the gates. The joy and love you had for our Lord was awe inspiring. You loved your family, friends and was Jesus’ hands and feet. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so happy you got to see your family thar went before you and I know Mamaw was so happy to see her sister. I also know you were met by your Jesus with the words “well done good and faithful servant”. We are all better for knowing you and having you love us. Much love, Regina Kaye

Mary was truly a Proverbs 31 lady. She always had a smile on her face and always praised the Lord. There was no doubt about her relationship with Jesus. We will truly miss her. Glenn, we are praying for you and the rest of the family. Love, Shirley and Don Walters
