After read the wonderful comments about Mrs. Shirley Hall, especially the love shown to Mr. Buzz and Ms. Shirley, accommodation both family gave each other. May the future hope of life comfort you all, this hope say “Your dead will live.My corpses will rise up.Awake and shout joyfully,You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning,And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.Isa. 26:19

On behalf of the entire Thompson family I would like to thank everyone who made Mom's life a special one. She loved us children and their spouses dearly, she doted over her grandchildren and spouses and her great grandchildren. She loved her job as Supervisor of the Information Counter/Post Office at Tri-cities Airport. She always said she had great people to work with and loved the interactions with FAA, airlines and airport employees. We are so thankful to her husband, Buzz, who loved her and us and made her secure in her retirement years. They had some great bus trips together and loved being together. Buzz always thought of us as part of his family and we loved that he was part of ours. We will miss our Mom but she will live on in her six children, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and the great children yet to come. Thanks, Mom and be at peace. Have a great time with Buzz and our Grammie Nelson in heaven. - Your children Mike, Steve, Lori, Scott, Karen and Wayne

Shirley was a wonderful Sister, Mother, Aunt, and person. The Nelson’s from Connecticut have many fond memories of Aunt Shirley. Her brother Bob and his wife Pat always enjoyed their visits with Shirley and her family. She stayed in touch and would always stop when passing through CT. We were blessed to see Shirley, Steve, and Lori, when they were returning from a trip to Maine this past October. Anyone who spent even a little time with the Thompson’s could see what a wonderful family Shirley raised. Our condolences to all who knew and loved Shirley, she will be greatly missed but we will all continue to have fond memories. With great love – brother Bob and wife Pat, nieces Linnea and Lynn, nephews Bobby and Mark, and all great nieces, nephews, and extended family from Connecticut.

What wonderful memories I have of visiting TN to see Shirley and my dad. She was so gracious and loving, and my dad's life was made more wonderful with Shirley. She raised six amazing children she was extremely proud of. Thank you especially for the contribution to Buzz Hall/s salvation. Bask in the beautiful thoughts of your life with this precious person.
