Bristol, TN. - Dale Leon Leonard 77, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Leonard was born in Bristol, VA. and he was a lifelong resident of Bristol, VA. Mr. Leonard was a United States Army Veteran service in Vietnam. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Bristol, VA. Mr. Leonard was owner of Dale’s Refrigeration and Appliance Repair. Mr. Leonard is preceded in death by his wife; Janice Clark Leonard, parents; Dewey Robert Leonard and Fairie Sproles Leonard, three brothers; Fred Leonard, Robert Leonard and Gary Leonard. He is survived by one daughter; Kimberly Ramey (Craig), one son; Jason Dale Leonard (Hope), sisters; Elizabeth Love (Edward), Bonnie Roark, Ardis Jackson (Paul), Daris Worley (Allen), Joyce Billings, brother; Howard Leonard (Barbara), three grand-children; Jeremiah Leonard, Joshua Leonard and Annalisa Leonard, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at East Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel, Blountville, TN. There will be a special presentation by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 979 at 5:00 pm Thursday. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Brad Davis and Pastor Josh Davis officiating. Mr. Leonard will be laid to rest at East Tennessee Cemetery in the Garden of Everlasting Life, Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm with military rites by the American Legion Hammond post #3/265. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
