Clarence Depew
The Depew Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the chapel at East Tennessee Funeral Home 2630 Highway 75 Blountville, TN. 37617 and services at 3:00pm with Dr. Lester Morelock, officiating with a committal service to follow at East Tennessee Cemetery. Nephews of Mr. Depew will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Haven of Rest PO Box 372 Bristol, TN. 37621.
The family has supported this ministry since the 1950’s.

Life Story for Clarence Depew

Clarence Curtis Depew, 82,of Sullivan County passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Holston Valley Hospital.
Mr. Depew was born in Sullivan County and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was a truck driver for Mason Dixon Tank Lines, Consolidated Freight and Job Steward for many years and was member of Teamsters Union # 549.
Mr. Depew was a member of First Baptist Church of Weber City.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ida Depew and His Brother, Charles W. Depew.
His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Janice Galloway Depew of the home; Sons, James Daniel Depew of Kingsport, Kevin E. Depew (Kathie) of Huntsville, AL.; Brothers, John C. Depew Jr. of Olin, NC. and Harold L. Depew of Bristol, TN. , Grandchildren; Emily Grace Depew and Amanda Carr and several nieces and nephews.
